The I.D. Technical Institute was envisioned by the Late Shri I.D. Varshnei Family, known as the “Father of Glass Industry” in India. Driven by a philanthropic spirit and a desire to foster industrial growth in Uttar Pradesh, they established the institute in 1943.
Their vision was to impart sound technical and moral education to the state’s youth, empowering them to become skilled professionals and contribute to the economic well-being of the region. Since its inception, I.D.
